Description

Solicitation Number SB1341-04-Q-0668 dated June 25, 2004 is hereby amended to respond to additional technical questions submitted. Question: The requirements list "Real-time video display of return image" and "Computer interface with capability for control of instrument and angular readings from Labview software". Can you please elaborate? Are you looking for the quoter to supply a software package for analysis of the Real-time image, or do you just want to insure that a computer interface is available for implementation at a later date? Answer: The system must be supplied with a computer interface and Labview program which controls the autocollimator and reads the angular deviation. The return image must be accessible to the user in real-time just as on a non-automated system. Question: Is the 80 thread-per-inch requirement on the fine-pitch adjustment screws a hard number? Are more than 80 thread-per-inch acceptable? Answer: 80 thread per inch is the minimum requirement, finer pitch would be acceptable as well. The current response date, July 7, 2004 @ 3 pm local time, remains unchanged.
