- Description
- Amemdment 0001 to NRMAD000404155SLW The purpose of this amendment is to included the quanitites needed for bidding purposes.Multi-channel irradiance radiometers are necessary for the assessment of UV and photosynthetically active radiation effects on coral reefs in the CREWS network. Data needs to be collected using very low power, < 8 mA, matched sensors above and below the water. Sensitivity of 1 x 10-6 ¦ÌE/cm2/s up to 0.45 ¦ÌE/cm2/s is necessary to determine minute differences in the attenuation of natural waters and to handle the intense light in the tropics. These radiometers will be deployed at all CREWS stations to include coral reefs in both the Atlantic and Pacific monitoring networks.Required Specifications Power Consumption: 8ma or less (Solar Panel Powered Moored Buoy Deployment)Sensitivity: In water 1x10-6 ¦ÌE/cm2/s to a maximum in air of 0.45 ¦ÌE/cm2 /s Dynamic Range: 5 orders of magnitude without averaging, 6 with averaging over 10-second intervals. Cosine Collector Angular Response: ¡Ü 2.5% up to 650, 10% up to 850 (Lower is better)and width: ¡Ü 5.5nm width in 305nm wavelength and 10nm in all other wavelengths PAR (400nm-700nm) 330nm, 380nm. Quantities Needed 4 Each Cosine Collector Equipped Aquatic Irradiance Radiometers, measuring immersed cosine irradiance at PAR (400-700nm) and three UV optical channels; 305, 330, 380nm. 2 Each Cosine Collector Equipped Surface Irradiance Radiometers, measuring surface cosine irradiance at PAR (400-700nm) and three UV optical channels; 305, 330, 380nm. 4 Each 16 meter Underwater Power-Data Cables. 2 Each 2 meter Weatherproof Power-Data Cables. 1 Each 2 meter Underwater Power-Data Cable. Offers should be submitted in accordance with the quantities needed. All other terms and conditions remain the same. The closing date is COB, CST, Jul 12, 2004. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (01-JUL-2004); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
