Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to purchase water quality monitoring equipment from Hydrolab-Hach Company. We currently have 16 Hydrolab Minisonde 4a Multiprobes in use, in addition to the appropriate data recorder and software. Hydrolab-Hach Co. is the sole provider of the equipment needed: The Hydrolab multi-probe and the Thalimedes Water Level Monitor. Hydro-Lab is also the sole source for repair work on past and current Hydrolab equipment. THIS NOTICE IS NEITHER A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION NOR A SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304.
