Description

Provide board certified or board eligible qualified clinicians to perform compensation and pension examinations for veterans at the Ralph H. Johnson Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 109 Bee Street, Charleston, South Carolina. Contractor to provide the full range of medical disability examinations. Additionally, special purpose examinations shall be provided and specialist examinations may also be required. The Contractor shall provide examiners including physicians, nurse practitioners and physician assistants to perform these duties. The contract period is to be October 1, 2004 through September 30, 2005, with two (2) one-year options to extend. This procurement is being conducted under FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 15. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal (RFP). A technical proposal will be required. Technical evaluation criteria consists of (1) Personnel Qualifications; (2) Past Performance; (3) Patient Management; (4) Cost. The solicitation also includes performance incentives. The NAICS Code is 62111 and the size standard is $8.5 million. This solicitation is 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The anticipated issue date is July 2, 2004.
