Description

This notice constitutes a combined synopsis/solicitation in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 and supplemented with additional information herein. The acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562111 and the size standard to meet the set-aside required is $10.5 M. A written solicitation will NOT be issued. The Defense Distribution Center, Norfolk Naval Base (DDNV), Bldg W143 ? 5th Floor, Norfolk, VA has a requirement for a contractor to provide 40 cubic yard construction dumpsters that can be delivered, emptied, and returned on a 24 hour basis. These dumpsters must be able to take trash, metal, wood, and construction debris, all in one box. Contractor must pickup empty and return dumpster in a four (4) hour time limit from time of call. These dumpsters will be positioned throughout the Norfolk Naval Base, Norfolk, VA. All dumpsters will be delivered and on an on-call basis. Delivery receipts will be submitted on a monthly basis for contractor payment. In addition to the above information, this procurement is subject to the Service Contract Act and a wage determination (WD) is required. The place of performance for this acquisition and any resulting contract is: Norfolk, VA. Wage Determination No 94-2543 REV (33) dtd 05/27/2004. for this location and may be obtained from the Army?s web page at http://www.ceals.usace.army.mil/. Select Wage Determinations; Service Contract Act; To Continue, Enter State and County; Submit. Please review the wage determination for occupational title(s) that may apply to this procurement. Contractors must pay at least the applicable WD rate to all employees working under any contract that may result from this announcement. Paid Government holidays apply.
