Description
This amendment is issued to answer questions received and to extend the closing date of the Request for Quotation (RFQ) from 06 July 2004 to 09 July 2004, 4:00 p.m. HST. The questions and answers are as follows: Question: Is the contractor responsible to remove all debris that’s dug out in preparation of the slab? Answer: Yes Question: How do we obtain a copy of the plans & specs? Answer: The solicitation and all amendments are posted on FedBizOps. Drawings are available upon request. Question: Can the debris be disposed of on the base? Answer: All construction debris has to be removed from site. Clean fill can be negotiated. Question: Bleachers were mentioned in the revised RFQ; we need the plans & specs to determine the quantity & type. Answer: There was no mention of bleacher in the revised RFQ. Question: Do you have a website address for the Mesa Model? Answer: No, we do not have the website address, however, the Solicitation stated Classic Recreation as the manufacture of the Mesa Model. Question: Will toilets, water & electrical power be provided @ the jobsite? Answer: Basic power (120V, 20 amp) is near by as well as water connection at a hose bib at the ball field. Restrooms are also within 200 ft of the worksite. Question: We were unable to determine from the solicitation if the following is required for this contract: Davis-Bacon pay/certified payroll, Payment surety or performance bond, certificate of insurance, etc. Answer: No, since the concrete pad is incidental to providing the structure we are not considering this a construction contract. Question: Will material submittals for concrete, rebar, compaction or concrete testing, etc. be required? Answer: The contractor will be required to have available any documentation that validates that they have met the design guidelines as determined by Classic Recreation. If another supplier of the structure is selected then all documentation to support the “or equal” criteria will be required. This includes the design specs for the concrete, rebar, and stone fill. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (30-JUN-2004); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE. PLEASE CONTACT fbo.support@gsa.gov REGARDING THIS ISSUE.
