Description
The United States Senate Office of the Sergeant at Arms (SAA) is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to acquire technical and management services for developing and implementing a Printing, Graphics, and Direct Mail Printing Management and Accounting System (PG&DM PMAS) to replace the existing Covalent system. The Contractor will review initial PG&DM PMAS requirements and develop detailed final requirements; design the PG&DM PMAS to fully meet requirements including design alternatives; identify and recommend COTS software package(s), acquire the COTS software package(s) approved by the SAA; acquire the hardware platforms to support the COTS software package(s); provide software customization if tasked by the SAA for optional or future requirements; provide integration services for the entire PG&DM PMAS to include interfaces with existing SAA systems (optional tasks); assemble the necessary data in conjunction with the COTR and designated PG&DM personnel; implement and document the PG&DM PMAS application; and provide training, technical support, and maintenance for the PG&DM PMAS. The complete PG&DM PMAS may consist of multiple COTS products, if necessary to meet the Senate?s requirements. The Contractor must have the technical and management capabilities for integrating, installing, configuring, and customizing the COTS software product(s) and associated hardware platforms necessary to fulfill all Senate requirements for the PG&DM PMAS. The solicitation, all related documents, and amendments, if any, are available electronically. Interested parties can obtain a copy of this RFP by submitting a request via e-mail to Kathleen M. Haddow, the point of contact (POC), to acquisitions@saa.senate.gov the subject of the e-mail should be 2004-R-066 PG&DM PMAS. Requests for the RFP are due to the POC no later than July 14, at 12:00 Noon EDT. LATE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE RESPONDED TO. ALL INFORMATION IS PROVIDED IN THIS NOTICE. TELEPHONE, FAX, OR E-MAIL REQUESTS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION WILL NOT BE HONORED. THE U.S. SENATE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY COSTS FOR THE PREPARATION OF RESPONSES TO THE RFP. REQUESTS FOR HARD COPIES OF THE RFP WILL NOT BE HONORED. THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES THE ENTIRE RFP ANNOUNCEMENT AND IS THE ONLY INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE U.S. SENATE.
