Description
THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS PREPARED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE FORMAT IN FAR SUBPART 12.6 STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS- AS SUPPLEMENTED WITH ADDITIONAL INFORMATON INCLUDED IN THIS NOTICE. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY SOLICITATION; QUOTATIONS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This solicitation is a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal acquisition Circular 01-07. ***** The Associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) for this procurement is 422720 with a small business size of 500 employees. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Alaska State Office has a requirement for Jet A fuel. ***** All responsible offerors shall provide a quote for the following line items: LINE ITEM 0001: Quantity of approximately 14,000 gallons of Jet A fuel delivered to a remote gravel 2800' airstrip located at Rainy Pass lodge, Puntilla Lake, Alaska. First delivery to a BLM 5000 gallon diked bladder by July 4, 2004. Duration of the project is expected to be August 26, 2004. ****Award shall be made to the offeror whose quote offers the best price to government. The government will evaluate information based on the following evaluation criteria: 1) PRICE. Price will be the determining factor. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. FAR PROVISIONS: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; 52.212-3 Offerror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. FAR CLAUSES: 52.212-4. ***All Offerors shall submit the following: 1) Two copies of a quotation which provides a lump sum cost to deliver the supplies; and a Completed copy of the provisin at 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications- Commercial Items which may be downloaded at www.arnet.gov/far. Questions concerning this acquisition may be directed to Sandee Smith, Contracting Officer at 907-267-1326 or faxed to 907-267-1434. All quotes should be faxed to 907-267-1434. Submission must be received by 2:00 pm local time on July 2, 2004.
