Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is anticipated set-aside for small business only. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 344111, Size Standard $21 M. Solicitation/Purchase Request number F1JPPS41350200 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The Government intends to award this to Policy Studies, Inc. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22 effective 5 April 2004. The Government intends to award one contract line item number (CLIN 0001) for a Software Maintenance Contract for an existing Imaging and Scanning System purchased from Highland Software. The Maintenance Contract will include Help Line...Telephone and modem support related to system software inquiries; Remote Diagnostics...Unlimited telephone and modem support related to system problems; On-Site Support support related to system problems not resolvable through disgnosis; Preventative Maintenance...calls based on the anticipated system component usage; Administration of the Software Maintenance Agreement for OnBase (Highland) Application Software...includes the installation of and training for all automatic software upgrades. Period of Performance will be 1 July 2004 - 30 June 2005. Inspection and acceptance will be by the Government. The following provisions and clauses apply to this procurement: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; Addenda to FAR 52.212-1 FAR 52.204-7; DFARS 252.204-7004 Alternate A; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items. In accordance with the FAR 13.106-1(a)(2) offerors are notified that award will be made on the basis of price. Offeror will be evaluated in accordance with FAR 13.106-2. FAR 52-212-3 Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items (all offerors shall include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal); FAR 52.222-48 Exemption from Application of Service Contract Act Provisions for Contracts for Maintenance, Calibration, and/or Repair of Certain Information Technology, Scientific and Medical and/or Office and Business Equipment -- Contractor Certification.
