Description
The objective of this requirement is to create an easy-to-use scaled symptom checklist or inventory that clearly specifies what limitations one should place on driving and offer suggestions on what kinds of adaptive devices and other accommodations might be useful in overcoming problems in certain areas. For example, identify common symptoms of aging, identify critical driving tasks, develop a user-friendly self-assessment tool based on symptom severity, and compare self-assessment and driving-assessment recommendations. NAICS Code for this contract is 541720. It is anticipated that a Cost Reimbursement Type Contract will be awarded for this effort. The period of performance is for twenty-four (24) months. Electronic copies of the RFP and any other documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. The Internet site or URL for the FedBizOpps page is www.fedbizopps.gov or the GSA Electronic Posting Service (EPS) at http://www.eps.gov. It is the Offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet sites for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Potential Offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). Requests for paper copies of the RFP will not be accepted. Estimated date for release of solicitation is on or about July 20, 2004.
