Description

Rocky Mountain Laboratories (RML) in Hamilton, Montana, is a state-of-the-art research facility occupied by world-class scientists with a mission to study infectious microbes that cause disease in humans and animals. We are seeking information from companies that can provide Visual Information Specialist support services to NIAID at RML. The function is a client-driven service which involves working to meet client satisfaction and maintain the quality required by the client. The service provider shall collaborate with clients to set deadlines and shall prioritize tasks to ensure that all deadlines are met. The service provider shall be required to respond immediately to some client requests, on an emergency or routine basis. The campus occupies 33 acres in Western Montana along the Bitterroot Valley, includes over 30 buildings and 220,000 gross square footage (gsf) of space. Along with its parent organization, the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), RML studies help develop new diagnostics, vaccines, and treatments for emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases. RML Visual Information Specialists assist the scientific research community with client requests for medical journal and public media publication quality photographs, exhibits, multi-media presentations, webpage graphics, signage and use of reproduction techniques for photography and assistance with slide presentations. A firm knowledge of scientific material, techniques and processes to bring about the best possible representation of research data is the cornerstone of the position?s requirements.
