Description
The USCG MLCP, Alameda, CA, is considering a small business HubZone set-aside for a Maintenance Planning and General Ship Repair contract, on a variety of Coast Guard Cutters throughout the Pacific. Locations (lots) will include Kodiak and Dutch Harbor, AK, Seattle and Port Angeles, WA, Warrenton and Astoria, OR, Yerba Buena Island (Treasure Island) and Coast Guard Is (Alameda), Northern CA and San Diego and San Pedro, Southern CA. Contractor will be required to provide all labor, materials and equipment, except as specified, to perform individual firm-fixed delivery orders that will include general shipboard repair, travel and per diem, on site services, ship checks and reports. The contract will consist of a Base year and option years (4) for each lot specified above. The HubZone firm must meet the requirements of (FAR 52.219-3) which states ?at least 50% of the cost of personnel for contract performance will be spent for employees of the concern or employees of other HUBZone small business concerns?. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees. Firms that have been certified as small business HubZone by the SBA and are interested in this acquisition, must submit the following information: (a) company name and address; (b) Company?s POC, including telephone and facsimile numbers and e-mail address; (c) HubZone certification to Rebecca Budde rbudde@d11.uscg.mil later than 8 July 2004. A decision whether this will be pursued as a HubZone small business set-aside or not will be posted on www.eps.gov on or about 12 July 2004.
