Description

The Iraqi Oil Exploration Company (OEC) lost much of its capability (software and hardware) to process geophysical and geological (G&G) data due to looting and sabotage during and after the recent conflicts. In order to procure a G&G system, the OEC is seeking a consultant experienced in selecting, implementing and operating such systems on a scale comparable to those of the Iraqi Ministry of Oil (MoO). The consultant will provide expert, technical assistance to the OEC to allow them to select a G&G system that will utilize, to the extent possible, OEC existing systems and data, and to best serve their current and future needs. The advice will also consider future expansion into other sectors of MoO?s operations. Formal solicitation will be issued on or before 30 June 2004. ***********DO NOT CONTACT DONALD CROES***********.
