Description

St. Louis, MO 63102 - Installation of Fire and Intrusion Alarm System, Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, 11 North 4th Street, Solicitation Number I6520040001. SEEKING QUALIFIED HUB-ZONE COMPANIES TO BID THIS PROJECT. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 and the Small Business Size Standard is $28.5 million (average gross revenue for the last three (3) years). MAGNITUDE OF PROJECT: $100,000 to $500,000. NOTICE TO POTENTIAL BIDDERS: This project is set aside 100% for HUB-ZONE contractors that are certified with the Small Business Administration. Work consist of furnishing all labor and materials to install an Intrusion Detection and Fire Alarm System. Alarm system must be compatible with the existing systems at Jefferson National Expansion Memorial (Gateway Arch and Grounds Maintenance Building). Fire alarm must be Simplex Grinnell and the Intrusion alarm must be Andover Controls. The current Old Courthouse alarm system is to remain in tact during installation of new system. TYPE OF CONTRACT: A firm-fixed price contract that requires a lump sum bid. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance is one hundred fifty (150) calendar days from issuance of notice to proceed. PUBLICIZING AND RESPONSE TIME: The solicitation package will be issued on or about July 14, 2004 with a bid opening date on or about August 13, 2004. Solicitation packages may be obtained via the Internet by accessing the National Business (NBC) Opportunities web site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. THIS ELECTRONIC POSTING REPRESENTS THE ONLY FORMAL OFFERING. A PAPER COPY OF THE SOLICITATION PACKAGE WILL NOT BE ISSUED.
