Description

Provide all labor, supervision, materials, and equipment to furnish all labor, management, supervision, tools, equipment, materials, services, transportation and all incidental items necessary to Replace Carpet With Vinyl Composition Tiles (VCT) in I ndividual Rooms, and Paint Walls, Stairwells, Doors and Doorframes in Buildings 2076 and 2077, Schofield Barracks, Oahu, HI. The work includes replacing carpet in bedrooms with VCT in individual rooms, moving furniture as required. Newly installed tiles shall match existing tiles currently in quarters. Work shall also include painting all breezeways and stairwells, to include doors and doorframes. Power washing will be required where heavy dirt buildup is present near stairwells. Color brushouts are to be provided to the government upon color determination. All work is to be completed no later than October 31, 2004. Work shall be prosecuted on a full-time basis. Modified two-step process also termed C3 (Customer, Contracting, and Commerce) process wi ll be utilized as the procurement method. All interested contractors are required to attend the site visit scheduled on Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at 9:00 a.m. (Hawaiian Standard Time) in main parking lot, Building 2076, Schofield Barracks, HI. You are requ ired to notify Mr. Kerry Luke no later than July 6, 2004, of your interest in attending the site visit by e-mail at LukeK@shafter.army.mil. Please indicate in your e-mail if you have not attended a previous industry forum briefing. You will need to be br iefed on the C3 process prior to the site visit. Information on the procurement as well as site visit information (instructions) will be provided upon receipt of your e-mail. No telephonic requests will be accepted. This is an unrestricted procurement.
