- This is a combined/synopsis solicitation for commercial nonpersonal services issued by the 509th Contracting Squadron, Whiteman AFB, Missouri. This document was prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented and in accordance with FAR FAC 2001-24 with additional information included in this notice. This electronic solicitation is the only solicitation being issued, and is issued as a Request for Quotation. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. Solicitation Number is FA4625-04-Q-0017. The NAICS code 562211, Hazardous Waste Treatment and Disposal, applies to this solicitation. The size standard is 10.5 million dollars. The item description is as follows: Maintenance of Oil/Water Separators and Emergency Catch Tanks. The Contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary to inspect, clean, collect, remove, reclaim, and dispose of those materials essential to proper maintenance of oil/water separators and emergency catch tanks located at Whiteman Air Force Base, Missouri (see attachments for Statement of Work, drawings, technical specifications, bid schedule, and representations and certifications). Need 100% Remediation companies to respond. The waste will NOT be tested or sampled. Instead, it will need to go directly to a remediation facility where it can be refined and reused, therefore exempting the government from hazardous waste regulations (End item description). The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible bidder whose quote, conforming to this solicitation, will be most advantageous to the government. Price is the determining factor used to evaluate quotes. Quotations shall be accompanied by a completed representations and certifications. You must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration before an award can be made. Department of Labor Wage Determination 96-0224 Rev (14) is to be used during the contract (www.wdol.gov). This contract will be for the base year and four (4) option years. The base year will be shortened to 3 months (July 2004 through September 2004), with the first option year beginning on 1 Oct 2004 and ending on 30 September 2005. FOB Destination for delivery and acceptance at Whiteman AFB, MO.
