Description
The National Cancer Institute (NCI), Division of Cancer Epidemiology and Genetics (DCEG), plans to procure services for the influence of corn farming on the immune system in the agricultural health study. The supplies and services herein are being procured in accordance in FAR Part 12. The North American Industry Classification System Code is 541710 and the business size standard is 500 employees. The purpose of the current procurement is to analyze plasma samples collected within the framework of the corn farming study for basic immunoglobulin panels (IgA, IgM, IgG, IgE, IgD), complement factors (C3, C4 and C5), autoimmune parameters (ANA and RF), and factors indicating inflammation (C-reactive protein), using nephelometry and/or ELISA. Period of Performance: July 2004 through August 2005. This procurement is an indefinite delivery indefinite quantity type contract. Minimum Requirement: Contractor and personnel working under the contractor shall have 3 years experience in these services. These services are standard clinical tests.
