- This is Amendment 0002 to combined synopsis/solicitation W58RGZ-04-R-0713, Aerial Surveillance Platform. This Amendment provides answers to questions from industry, makes changes to the Statement of Work, and addresses terms and conditions of the So licitation. 1. Question: 'Would it be allowed to use Jet A1 Fuel?' Answer: Jet A1 Fuel is not required. 2. Question: 'What shall be the aircraft registration - US - Iraqi - Civilian - Military?' Answer: Iraqi Air Force 3. Industry comment (para phrased): There is concern about a technical performance reduction in paragraph 3.0.3 SENSOR/COMMUNICATIONS, specifically the capability to detect a man- sized target at a 3 km range rather than the 5 km range as was called for i n the previous (-0547) solicitation. Answer: Offerors are free to propose the best possible solution to meet or exceed the stated requirement, offerors are reminded that evaluations will be based on a best value approach. 4. Paragraph 3.0.3 SENSOR/COMMUNICATIONS SUITE is changed as follows: replace '(UnCooled IR is a desired characteristic)': with '(Cooled IR is a desired characteristic)' 5. Paragraph 3.0.4 COMMUNICATIONS is changed as follows: all references to 'KHz' should now read 'MHz'.
