Description

A Sole Source Commercial contract is anticipated by the Augusta VA Medical Center, Network Logistics Office (509/10N7/NLO), 1 Freedom Way, Augusta, GA 30904-6285, for the Central Alabama Health Care System, located at 215 Perry Hill Road, Montgomery, AL 36109-3798 to ADCO Boilers Co, locate at 3657 Pine Lane, Bessemer, AL 35023. This work includes the replacement of existing boiler/burner controls and data management systems, and new instrumentation for monitoring boiler/burner performance. Data management systems consist of new computer workstation and programming that provides monitoring and control of hospital HVAC systems and boiler plant functions that tie into the existing monitoring system (Metasys). Included in this work are modifications and adjustments to existing fuel trains and burners originally designed and built by Cleaver-Brooks. Work includes the replacement of Cleaver-Brooks forced draft fan wheels and motors with new wheels, motors and variable speed drives which are proprietary. NAICS Code 235110 Size Standard 12.0 Million Dollars with the estimated project value being $100,000 to $250,000. A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated.
