Description

The U.S. Department of State intends to procure computer support for the Office of Verification Compliance. This support encompasses office automation systems including electronic creation, storage, retrieval and mailing of documents; creation and maintenance of databases, video teleconferencing and other applications. Among current needs are creation and maintenance of full text retrieval of telegrams and other documents in support of arms control negotiations, creation and maintenance of software tools used to verify compliance with existing arms control treaties, and creation and maintenance of software to keep track of information exchanged among nations as a result of arms control treaties. THIS REQUIREMENT IS A 100% TOTAL SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE. The Department anticipates awarding either a cost type or labor hour type contract for one base year with four one year option periods. Any interested party who would like a copy of the solicitation should contact the contract specialist or team leader as identified below no later than 3PM Eastern Time, June 3, 2004. This requirement will not be reannounced unless there is a substantial change. Once proposals are received, it is anticipated that there may be discussions; however, the Government reserves the right to award based on initial submission of proposals. DO NOT CALL.
