Description

GSA is seeking sources capable of performing replacement of the entire fire alarm system with a current state of the art analog addressable fire alarm system with voice communication capabilities at the Richard C. White Federal Building, 700 E. San Antonio St. El Paso, Texas. All wiring is required to be installed Class A, in conduit, with no exceptions allowed. All components of the fire alarm system are required to be of one manufacturer, and must be from one of the three following approved sources: EST, Notifier, or Cerbuerus. The project must strictly meet all conditions of ADA as required for alarms including audibility and visibility of notification appliances. Design must be in accordance with NFPA 72, ADA, PBS P100, and all other NFPA standards as applicable. Material submittals, including calculations, for each system are to be provided as part of the contract. It is anticipated that this project will take approximately 90 days to complete, with an anticipated award date of August 2004. The estimated dollar value of this procurement is approximately $500,000, the NAICS Code is 238210, and the current size standard is $12 Million. Note that there is no solicitation available at this time; the purpose of this announcement is to identify available sources. Award of any resulting procurement will be based on a source selection, best value to the Government, methodology.
