Description

The Government intends to award a sole source acquisition under the authority of FAR Clause 6.302-1. This is a follow-on contract to provide contractor owned modular buildings, to include all maintenance and repairs, and used for government billetin g. The requirement is for a base year (04 Jul 01 thru 05 Jun 30) and four one-year options. Modulars are needed for continuity of services until permanent facilities are available through MCA project. Buildings are already in place on site, built to gove rnment specifications, and maintained by the owner. The incumbent contractor is the only source that can satify the current need. This is a fixed price acquisition with a size standard of $17.5M/numbered note 22: Interested parties may identify their int erest, however, the determination not to compete this action is solely within the discretion of the Government.
