- This announcement constitutes only the pre-solicitation notice; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued on or around June 25, 2004. Solicitation number FA4600-04-T-0113 is being issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-23. All applicable provision and clauses are included in the actual solicitation. This electronic announcement constitutes the only pre-solicitation notice being issued. THIS PROCUREMENT IS SET ASIDE 100% FOR SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990, and the small business size standard is $28.5 Million. The Government intends to issue a firm fixed price purchase order for the following service: Removal and Replacement of 4 steel pit covers with rolling pit covers on Offutt AFB, NE. Please reference solicitation # FA4600-04-T-0113 on all correspondence. All quotations must be received via e-mail to TSgt Roland Eder or TSgt Jean Hinton at the 55 Contracting Squadron, 101 Washington Square, Offutt AFB 68113-2107 by 21 July 2004 at 12:00pm (CST). Quotes must be valid for 30 days after the date that the quotes are due. NO PARTIAL AWARDS WILL BE MADE. Please acknowledge all requirements on quotations. A site visit is scheduled for 10:00 am (CST), 7 July 2004, at the Bellevue/Offutt Visitor Center on the corner of Ft. Crook and Hwy 370. Only one site visit will be granted. If you wish to attend the site visit you must notify Roland Eder or Jean Hinton via e-mail at Roland.Eder@offutt.af.mil or jean.hinton@offutt.af.mil or fax at 402-294-4069, by 12:00pm (CST), 6 July 2004. Please provide names of all the individuals that will be attending. Those contractors who are unable to get access to on base must bring their valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and vehicle registration for a base pass if necessary.
