Description
Travis AFB is seeking to provide on-site preventative maintenance on government-owned Steris-manufactured equipment located at the David Grant Medical Center. Offerors shall be able to provide comprehensive maintenance service to ensure 95% or better minimum uptime by monthly system calculation. The equipment requiring maintenance: one each Century Sterilizer (model SG120), Century Prevac Sterilizers (one each model SV120, five each model V116, and three each model V120), three each Platform Prevac Sterilizers (model V148H Century), one each Reliance 400 Lab Glassware, four each Reliance 444 Double Washer, one each Steris Gravity Sterilizer (model 2011), five each Automated Transport Systems (model FX2000000009), and one each 120 Cart Wash. Preventative maintenance shall be performed in accordance with the Performance Work Statement, including, but not limited to: provide original equipment manufacturer (OEM) qualified engineers and technicians, repair to ensure a functional system, respond no later than 48 hours after telephone notification, notify the government of receipt of OEM or replacement parts and equipment safety recalls, not modify original design or functional capability without proper approval, provide suitable modern repair equipment and tools, provide OEM approved lubricants and apply to equipment, extend to the government all commercial warranties or replacement parts consistent with standard industry practice, maintain adequate spare inventory on parts with high history of failure or replacement rate, and any and all things necessary to provide subject service including travel except what is government furnished. The period of performance is 01 Oct 2004 through 30 Sep 2005, plus four one-year option periods. This contract may be subject to the Service Contract Act. A wage determination has been requested for Solano County. See FAR 52.222-48 Exemption From Application of the Service Contract Act Provisions for Contracts for Maintenance, Calibration, and/or Repair of Certain Information Technology, Scientific and Medical and/or Office and Business Equipment -- Contractor Certification (AUG 1996). This is a commercial acquisition being advertised unrestricted. NAICS Code is 811219. The related Small Business Size Standard is $6 million. The solicitation package will be posted in FedBizOpps, which can be accessed at http://www.eps.gov, on or about 08 Jul 2004 and close on or about 06 Aug 2004. THESE DATES ARE ONLY ESTIMATES AND ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE. The specific closing date will be stated in the solicitation package. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation package. Facsimile, telephone, written, or e-mail requests for the solicitation package will not be honored. Prospective offerors are responsible for monitoring the FedBizOpps website for release of the solicitation package and downloading their own copy of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information.
