Description
The USAF will issue an RFP for the repair of several Augmentor items. The contractor will furnish all required labor, direct material, parts, facilities, test equipment and services to accomplish repair/overhaul/remanufacture and modification, test, packaging, preservation and return of each item in completely serviceable condition. The solicitation will be issued electronically through the FEDBIZOPS website. A firm-fixed price, Requirements contract with a one-year basic and 4 one-year option ordering periods will be issued. Item 1: Divergent Nozzle Segment Seal Assy applicable to the F100PW200/220/220E engine; Output NSN: 2840-01-320-6432NZ; P/N: 4076459. Predominant material: Nickel base alloy; Size/Dimensions: about 21 inches long; Form/Fit/Function: Divergent seals, together with balance and convergent segments and seals, form the nozzle throat area of the augmentor. Delivery: As specified in each individual order. Estimated quantities: Basic year-6217, option 1-6652, option 2-6296, option 3: 5356, option 4-3273. Government?s Delivery Schedule: basic year: 518 per month, option 1: 555 per month, option 2: 524 per month, option 3: 447 per month, option 4: 273 per month. Item 2: Convergent Nozzle Segment Seal Assy applicable to the F100PW200/220/220E engine; Output NSN: 2840-01-456-0391NZ; P/N: 4084790-01. Predominant material: Nickel base alloy; Size/Dimensions: approx. 20.6 inches long; Form/Fit/Function: Convergent seals, together with balance and divergent segments and seals, form the nozzle throat area of the augmentor. Delivery : As specified in each individual order. Estimated quantities: Basic Year: 5652 each, Option 1: 6048 each, Option 2: 5724 each, Option 3: 4869 each, Option 4: 2969 each. Government?s Delivery Schedule: basic year: 471 per month, option 1: 504 per month, option 2: 477 per month, option 3: 406 per month, option 4: 248 per month. Government?s Delivery Schedule: basic year: 588 per month, option 1: 630 per month, option 2: 597 per month, option 3: 508 per month, option 4: 419 per month. Anticipated solicitation issue date: 12JUL04. Anticipated award date: 30SEP04. No telephone solicitation requests will be accepted. NOTE: An ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition.The purpose of the ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the Program manager or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
