- Description
- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), has a requirement to conduct a study for collection of aerosolized fungi (fragments and spores) in support of the NORA work-related asthma in buildings project. Two fungi species will be tested: A. versicolor and S. chartarum. There must be adequate safety measures in place for the aerosolization of S. chartarum. Samples of fungal aerosols will be provided to the government with an option to supply additional fungal samples should the results obtained from he initial samples be acceptable to NIOSH investigators. A single award will result from this solicitation. The entire scope of work, requirements and evaluation factors are addressed in the solicitation. This procurement is being issued unrestricted. Solicitation 2004-Q-01442 will be available on or about July 8, 2004, and proposals due July 29, 2004. Please reference the solicitation number in your request.
