Description: Project is located on the Calaveras Ranger District of the Stanislaus National Forest. Project consists of the following: McCormick Thinning - The precommercial thinning of plantation trees within the Darby Fire area. Project will treat approx. 82 acres; Edge Shred - The shredding/mastication of live and dead trees to create a fuelbreak. Project will treat approx. 131 acres. A pre-bid tour will be addressed in the solicitation. Recommended contract time: 57 days.
