Description

This acquistion is for the purchase of 214 each Sight Gage Indicators P/N J16116-62, 190 each Locking Devices P/N J16116-65, and 190 each Drilled Jam Nuts P/N 661-0310. This will be a requirements contract with a base year and four option years for the above quantities. These items are used with the Patriot Missile Launcher Outrigger Actuator. The period of performance for the base year will begin 08/01/04 - 07/31/05 followed by sequential option years. Orders will be issued as requirements material ize. Delivery will be determined at time of contract award. Destination will be Letterkenny Army Depot, Chambersburg PA 17225. The annotated closing date for the solicitation is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the release of the sol icitation. The solicitation will not close prior to the annotated closing date. Offerors must be approved and qualified. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. The Government d oes not possess sufficient documentation to acquire these items from other than the qualified source. A technical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. Suggest that small business firms, or others interes ted in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement, make contact with the firm listed. The RFQ will be issued to BEAVER AEROSPACE & DEFENSE INC., 11850 MAYFIELD ST, LIVONIA, MI 48150. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, w hich shall be considered by this agency.
