Description

The solicitation will be available at http://fedbizopps.gov on or about July 6, 2004. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND TELEPHONE REQUESTS OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. This project is a 100% Set-aside for Small Business. The National Park Service encourages the participation of disadvantaged and woman-owned business enterprises. The National Park Service requires a firm, fixed-price construction contract to furnish all labor, materials, equipment and expertise necessary to perform all operations required for the successful completion of this project to Replace Roofing on Historic Warehouse Building #301 located at Pinnacles National Monument, Paicines, California. Solicitation Number Q8450040280. Work includes, but is not limited to removing and disposing of existing roofing materials, performing minor repairs to rafters and roof deck, installing drip edge, and installing 2600 square feet of new asphalt shingle roofing on the historic Chalone Maintenance Warehouse Building 301 (80' x 24') in the East District of Pinnacles National Monument, San Benito County, California. The NAICS code for this project is 238160 and the small business size standard is $12 million. Contract duration is 30 days following notice to proceed. In accordance with FAR Subpart 36.204, the price range for this contract is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is a Request for Quotes under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 13 applies. A site visit will be scheduled for all interested parties with the time and date to be announced in the solicitation, Section L. Responses will be due approximately 14 days following the issuance of the solicitation. Search by referencing the solicitation number (above), Department of the Interior, National Park Service.
