Description

The criteria for the possible replacement of safety IV catheters for TRICARE Region 11 is but not limited to the following: carry a full line of safety IV catheters, provide customer support, utilitzation reports, education programs, clinical support , provide product to all the medical facilities in the Region (WA and AK), simple and easy to use product, available in wide range of sizes and lengths, latex free, clear flash chamber, provide barrier between hands and needle, safety feature is an integra l part of the device, one hand activation, remains engaged through disposal, preferably a passive device, high flow rates, V-point bevel needle,and optically clear barrel and radiopaque. Companies interested in participating in the evaluation and possible agreement with TRICARE Region 11 for safety IV catheters need to reply to this solicitation no later then 12 July 2004.
