Description

Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to Upgrade Emergency Power System, Project 649-04-102 at the Northern Arizona VA Health Care System, Prescott, AZ. Work to include replacement of transfer switches, emergency power generators, rewiring various loads to emergency power, installation of new emergency power panels, and certain other work. Contractor will be required to coordinate with other emergency generator work performed by others. Attempts will be made to post Solicitation documents and applicable drawings and have them available for download from the website http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/ or http://www.eps.gov/ on or about July 20, 2004. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will be posted on this website. Offerors are advised they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments. It is essential that offerors register on bidders mailing list for this soliciation to receive notification of amendments. All request for information or questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer, fax 928 717 7444 or e-mail Katheryn.Bernal@med.va.gov. The Pre-Construction conference and Bid Opening Dates will be confirmed in the issued solicitation, est. 1st week of August and August 24th respectfully. While not mandatory, all bidders and subcontractors are strongly encouraged to attend. The award of this contract is subject to the availability of funds. In accordance with FAR Part 36, the cost range for this procurement is between $250,000 to $500,000. NAICS is 238210 and $12 Million dollars.
