Description

This project involves construction of a harbor of refuge near the northern border of the city of Duluth, Minnesota. The construction consists of the construction of two new breakwaters and basin excavation to create a 3 acre harbor near the interse ction of Scenic Highway 61 and McQuade Road. A parking area will be constructed on the north side of Highway 61 and a launch area will be constructed on the south side of Highway 61. An underpass under Scenic Highway 61 would also be constructed to allo w boater access from the parking area to the launch area. This project is unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 237990 is 237990. The estimated cost range is between $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00. Small business size standard is $28,000,000.00 annual receipts. The solicitation will be available on www.lre.usace.army.mil on or about 6 July 2004.
