Description

DECK COVERING RENEWAL: HSCG35-04-Q-JWM035. The U.S. Coast Guard requires a contractor fully qualified in the field of deck surface preparation and preservation to provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and incidentals to renew deck covering systems onboard Coast Guard Cutter MAPLE (WLB 207), located at 1480 Seward Ave., Sitka, AK (Alaska). Following compartments apply: Crew?s Mess, Galley, Scullery, and Galley Annex. The estimated start work date is July 05, 2004, with a performance period up to July 23, 2004. The estimated cost range is between $25,000 and $100,000. See the solicitation for bonding requirements. This procurement is issued as a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code is 235990 and the applicable size standard is $11.5 million dollars in annual receipts for the past three years. All responses small business may submit a quotation. This solicitation will not be issued in paper form. Solicitation documents, may be accessed for download from the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website beginning on the date of issue (estimated to be on or about June 18, 2004) at the following site: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will be posted on the website. Prospective quoters are responsible for checking the website for amendments up to the date and time of due (closing) date of June 28, 2004 for receipt of quotations. The technical data package (specifications and/or drawings) will only be available through a link in FedBizOpps to the Federal Technical Data Solution (FEDTeDS) website. Firms must be currently registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database and FEDTeDS database to be able access the technical data package. Vendors are encouraged to register their interest by entering their information in the Interested Vendors List (IVL) for this solicitation in FedBizOpps. The award of this solicitation will be on or before June 30, 2004.
