Description

Furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials to construct 768 rods of 3-wire barbed wire fence (all barbed wire), 400 rods of 4-wire barbed wire fence, (all barbed wire), plus remove and dispose of 440 rods of 3-wire barbed fence and 720 rods of 4-wire barbed fence with a few areas of woven wire and approximately 1168 steel and wooden post combinations. Posts are mostly steel with some wood brace combinations. The contract will include: Mobilization: 1 lump sum; Barbed Wire Fence 4-wire 880 rods; Barbed Wire Fence 3 Wire 768 rods; Barbed & Woven Fence Reoval 1,168 rods; Barbed Wire End Panels 20 each; Barbed Wire Stress Panels 10 ea; Three post Corner 7 ea; Five Post Corners 12 ea; Barbed Wire Gates 10 ea. Work is located in Lawrence and Haakon County, South Dakota. Contractor will have 107 days to complete the project after the Notice to Proceed is issued. All awards over $25,000 will require 100% Payment Protection in the form of a Irrevocable Letter of Credit, a Certificate of Deposit, or a Payment Bond. This project is estimated between $25,000 to $100,000 and is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation will be available on or about 6/30/04 and will close 7/30/04.
