Description

The VISN 6 Contracting Activity will issue on or about July 2, 2004 Solicitation No. RFP 246-04-01514, Building 4 Roof Expansion (Design/Build). This will be a design/build contract. Proposals shall be due thirty calendar days after issuance of the solicitation. The date and time of the pre-proposal conference will be contained in the solicitation. All potential offerors are STRONGLY ENCOURAGED to attend. The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, transportation, and qualified supervision to design and perform work to construct a new 2,200 square foot roof structure one story above the existing first floor level roof in the center of Building 4. Work shall include ensuring the existing roof will support new office space created by this project, extension of existing roof drains and other equipment to the new roof deck and one doorway to allow access to the new floor. The existing built up roof and the application of the new EPDM roof will be covered by a separate contract. All work to include design and construction shall be completed within 120 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. This procurement is 100% set-aside for certified HUBZone businesses. NAICS 236220 applies. The estimate for this procurement is between $100,000 - $250,000.
