Description
The Federal Bureau of Prisons has a future requirement for a 10 year water utility service contract at the Federal Correctional Complex located at Butner, North Carolina to service the various components of the Complex operations. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS code is 221310 (Size Standard: $6.0 Million Revenues). This sources sought synopsis is for the purpose of conducting market research to determine interest and capability of potential sources for this requirement. Please submit capability statements and evidence of state or local authority to provide public utilities (i.e. water). All information submitted in response to this announcement is voluntary; the Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate a respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government. The contractor shall provide water service to accommodate an estimated daily water flow of 1,000,000 gallons. The contractor will be responsible for providing and coordinating all services required to deliver the water service to the designated point of service point. A permanent water connection shall be available by April 4, 2005. Permanent service commencement date of October 4, 2005 is required. Any resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price contract and shall have a performance period of ten (10) years duration. Point of contact for inquiries and clarifications is: David L.
