Description
NAICS Code: 531120 The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) Office of Enforcement and Compliance (OECA) intends to award a sole source fixed-price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures to Event Emissary, LLC of Washington, DC under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. The purpose of this acquisition is to rent the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium for the First OECA Open House and Diversity Day Celebration . The NAICS Code for this procurement is 531120. OECA must have a facility to house a minimum of 700 people, and have available additional chairs, tables, table linens, exhibitor tents, a sound system and all necessary audio visual equipment. In addition, the venue must be located in downtown Washington, DC near EPA Headquarters, be metro accessible, and be handicap accessible. Therefore, it has been determined that Event Emissary, LLC is the only viable source to meet the Government's requirements. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 10 calendar days of the date of this announcement will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed Purchase Order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All questions should be directed to Carole Britt via e-mail at britt.carole@epa.gov. The Government's estimate of this effort is under $25,000.
