Description

This procurement is 100% set-aside for firms under the 8(a) Program serviced by the Small Business Administration, Alaska District Office, or by 8(a) firms who can demonstrate a bona fide place of business within the state of Alaska. The estimated d ollar magnitude of this project is anticipated between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000 and the acquisition method is Invitation for Bid (IFB). DESCRIPTION: Repair and/or upgrade approximately 8,000 feet of Utilidor systems on Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Repa irs include complete replacement of sewer, water, steam and steam condensate lines within existing Utilidor structures on Oak Avenue, Montgomery Avenue, and Neely Road, including service to buildings on Neely Road. Work will also include construction of a pproximately 2,100 feet of new utilidor and sewer, water, steam and steam condensate lines, enlargement of some existing manholes and asbestos abatement. Note: The bid schedule will also include additional work as option items; however, there is no guarant ee the options will be exercised. Bid bonds and Performance and Payment bonds will be required. NAICS CODE: This procurement will be conducted under NAICS 237990. The size standard for this NAICS code is $28.5 Million.
