Description

This synopsis/solicitation is Phase 2 of Contract No. 53-91U4-4-1B49. This combined solicitation package may be awarded to more than one Contractor. This announcement constitues the only solicitation that will be offered. Quotations are due by 12:00 NOON, local time, June 25, 2004. Contractors must be registered with Central Contractors Registration (CCR) before an award can be made. Registration can be done online @http://www.ccr.gov. Quotations must be signed and include taxpayer ID and DUNS numbers. If you wish to bid, fill out bloocks 12 & 17 and sign block 30 (a&b) of form #1449. Masticating services to be performed consist of timber stands within individual project areas in the Laguna Mountian Recreation Area of the Cleveland National Forest, Descanso Ranger District under the direction of the Contracting Officer's Representative. Estimated start date is September 1, 2004. Contract time is 180 calendar days. Government estimate is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. NAICS code 115310. SBA $6.0 million. Quotations should be bid on an hourly rate for the machine and operator which includes all time under hire (time under hire does not include breakdowns and repair work). Hours worked will be verified and approved by the COR on invoices submitted by the Contractor. Payment will be made for actual time worked under hire. Any Contractor desiring a copy of the solicitation, maps, specifications, etc must do so in writing to Linda Ford, Procurement Assistant, Southern California Province.
