?This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command.? NUWC Division Newport intends to place a sole source contract with J. Guy Reynolds for technical support services to perform essential analyses, evaluations, and assessments related to the development of platforms, weapons, sensors and combat systems to counter both emerging and future threats and the new environments in which they are likely to be encountered in pursuing initiatives to provide research and system development guidance toward shallow water environmental measurements and underwater acoustics as these disciplines relate to Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) requirements. It is expected to place a purchase order with J. Guy Reynolds Associates. They are the only known source for these items because they possess a broad range of both operational and administrative experience in areas being analyzed including but not limited to the following: Dual-use Technologies, Operational Effectiveness Measures and Virginia Class Submarine (VCS) Seawolf, Trident modernization programs. Total estimated Level of Effort is 224 man-hours. This solicitation is expected to be released on or about 06/24/04. NAICS code is 541330, Size Standard is $23M. Clearance to the Secret level is required. Period of performance will be from date of award to 31 Dec 2004, F.O.B. Destination Naval Station Newport; Newport, RI.
