- FA8601-04-T-0093, INSTRUCTOR/ADVISOR: The government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) and FAR 6.302-1(a)(2). The proposed source is Dr. Charles J. Bridgman, Huber Heights OH. Award is anticipated to be made to Dr. Bridgman because is uniquely qualified to instruct and advise graduate students of the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT) Nuclear Engineering Graduate Program. He will be teaching a highly specialized course concerning residual effects of nuclear weapons. The NAICS code is 611310, SIC 8299, size standard $6 million. This sole source synopsis is being published for information purposes only. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, any quotation received within six (6) days of the issuance of this notice will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered exclusively for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
