Description
The Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation/Insurance Operations Department requires the services of a Contractor to manage and operate the PBGCs Document Management Center (DMC). On a labor hour basis, the contractor shall perform: document processing (e.g. scanning, indexing, verification, post-audits); document preparation; files and records management; correspondence control; data entry; and maintaining required management and performance reports. Performance is at PBGC facilities. Data entry and minor participant and plan document scanning will be performed at the PBGC headquarters (Washington, DC). Mail processing and bulk plan document scanning will be performed at the PBGCs Kingstowne facility (Alexandria VA). The Contractor may occasionally be required to perform special projects elsewhere throughout the United States. The contract will provide for up to 90,000 labor hours effort per year. Performance is anticipated to start October 1, 2004 and continue through September 30, 2005. The contract will contain four one-year option periods. This effort is a re-compete of work currently being performed under Contract No. PBGC01-CT-00-0588 with the Systems Integration Group. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to assure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation and associated amendments will not be available. All interested sources are encouraged to submit a proposal for consideration by the PBGC. It is estimated that the solicitation will be released on or about July 2, 2004.
