ISSUE DATE: on or about 28 JUN 2004; PROPOSAL OPENING DATE: Approximately 30 days after release of solicitation; NOMENCLATURE: Cartridge, 9MM, Tracer, Practice Round for the AT4 Trainer; NSN: 1305-01-307-5536; PART NUMBER: 12913958; QUANTITY: Estimat ed quantity for 2004 is 581,000 EA plus four option years; UNIT ISSUE: each; END ITEM/NOMENCLATURE: AT4 Multi-Purpose Weapon Trainer; FUNDED: Yes; NOTES: It is intended to issue a Full and Open competitive, Firm Fixed Price RFP that includes a 1-year basic with 4 option years and range bidding. All contractors interested in this future solicitation must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration Database. Participation in this effort is strictly voluntary with no cost or obligation to be incurred by the Government. The Government will in no way be obligated to purchase all or any part of the item described above. Any of the information stated above concerning the item is subject to change. First Article test is required. HIGHER LEVEL OF CONTRACT QU ALITY IS REQUIRED: ISO 9001:2000. Tech Data Package is Distribution Statement A, thus the TDP can be distributed via the Internet.
