Description

The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia will be conducting a pre-solicitation conference to discuss the initial acquisition of 64 water heaters identified as NSN 4520-01-520-5362. The contract will be a long term agreement with a two years base with 3 one year options. There will be a preproduction sample requires along with other testing after contract award. The heaters will be purchased to a performance specification which will require as a minimum, the following requirements. Flow a minimum of 14 gallons per minute. Provide a continuous 50 degree F. rise output ay the minimum 14 GPM. This heater must have at least 400,000 BTU heating capacity while not exceeding 350 pounds. The heater shall have (1) 1 ? NST Female water inlet and at least 4 male garden hose outlets. Maximun inlet pressure is 125 PSI. In addition to these requirements, there shall be no on-board fuel tank. Heater shall be multi-fueled. Fuel supply shall be ?Sceptor?, style quick connection. The pre-solicitation conference will be held on June 29, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. at the following address: FEMA Headquarters, 550 C Street SW, Washington, D.C. 20472.
