Description

*****Solicitation Number SB1341-04-Q-0474 is hereby amended in an effort to not restrict alternative methods of meeting the requirement of Line Item 0001 (specification line 2) and to convert the requirement to performance based. NIST is hereby removing the requirement that the system must have a target and target traverse for calibration and extending the due date for quotes. NIST will consider systems that offer alternate methods of calibration other than target and target traverse as long as the alternate method meets all of the existing performance specifications listed within the solicitation. All Quoters are required to provide information and documentation demonstrating that the alternate method is capable of meeting all of the required performance specifications. The due date for quotes is hereby changed as follows: FROM: May 7, 2004 at 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time TO: June 10, 2004 at 3:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. EMAILED QUOTATIONS SHALL BE ACCEPTED AS LONG AS THEY ARE RECEIVED IN THEIR ENTIRETY BY THE 3:00 PM EST DEADLINE. QUOTATIONS RECEIVED AFTER THE DEADLINE SHALL BE DEEMED LATE AND WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR AWARD. FAXED QUOTATIONS SHALL NOT BE ACCEPTED.***** ***Quoters who do NOT want to revise their quotations shall state in writing that their original quotation stands firm as submitted. Quoters shall provide this information to the Contract Specialist by 3:00 PM, EST on June 10, 2004.
