Description: The Product Manager for Non-Stockpile Chemical Materiel (PM NSCM) is tasked to provide centralized management and direction to the U.S. Department of Defense for the disposal of Non-Stockpile Chemical Materiel in a safe, environmentally sound, and co st-effective manner while ensuring compliance with the Chemical Weapons Convention. The Non-Stockpile Chemical Materiel mission includes the disposal of Binary Chemical Warfare Materiel, the destruction of former Chemical Weapons Production Facilities, th e disposal of Miscellaneous Chemical Warfare Materiel, and the disposal of Recovered Chemical Warfare Materiel. The PM NSCM is sensitive to public concerns regarding the execution of this mission; hence, the Core Group was developed to provide a mechanism for citizen groups to voice opinions regarding the NSCM mission. The Core Group is comprised of concerned citizens, state environmental regulators, HQ EPA, DOD, and DA personnel. The purpose of this task is to provide a Core Group facilitator services. Facilitator services include organizing, manage facilitating and follow up support for Core Group meetings; supporting communication among Core Group members between meetings; and administrative support. The proposed contract is for a one-year base contract period with 4 one-year options.
