Description

This is a comined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is being issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Soliciation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition C ircular FAC 2001-22 & 23, 05 May 04 and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement DFAS, 1998 edition, and current to DCN 20040513. It is anticipated that payment will be made by Government Visa Credit Card. The North American Industry Classificat ion System NAICS is 325188 with a size standard of 1000 employees. Requirement: The quote shall consist of Contract Line Item 0001, quantity 160,000 pounds Huberite #7. The Salient Characteristics of this product can be found at the manufacture web site http://208.55.179.223/HuberMSDS/Barite/Huerbrite1T.pdf. All quotes shall be clearly marked with this Solicitation number W9124R-04-T-0043 and e-mailed to Jackie.Wengstrom@yuma.army.mil or Fax 928-328-6849 no later than Close of Business Mountain Standard T ime MST 5:P.M. 8 June 2004. Offeror that fail to furnish required representations of information as required by 52.212-1, 52.212-3, and 252.212-7001 cited below, or reject the terms and conditions of this solicitation may be excluded from consideration. T he Government intends to award a contract to the responsible bidder whose bid conforming to the solicitation will be the most advantageous to the Government based on an acceptability and price. The following FAR Clauses and Provisions are incorporated by reference and apply to this acquisition. FAR provision 52.212-1 Instruction to Offerors Commercial Items Jan 2004.
