- The solicitation will be available at http://ideasec.nbc.gov Website on or about June 18, 2004. TELEPHONE/EMAIL REQUESTS FOR THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. PLEASE DO NOT CALL OR EMAIL INQUIRIES REGARDING THE SOLICITATION UNTIL IT HAS BEEN POSTED. The National Park Service, Northeast Region has a requirement for the rehabilitation of restrooms in the Visitor Center at Hopewell Furnace National Historic Site located in Elverson, PA. The work of this contract consists of all renovations, including modifications of restroom plumbing, heating, exhaust and electrical systems, the procurement and installation of new fixtures and equipment in the restrooms. The work also includes the demolition of the west wall, expansion of the existing restroom and replacement of the existing restroom roof as illustrated in the plans and specifications. The contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, tools supervision and incidentals necessary to complete the work of this contract. Prospective offerers desiring to do business with the National Park Service are requested to register at the National Business Center. Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 2001-16 requires all contractors to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov) prior to any award.
