- Description
- The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences intends to award a sole source purchase order to Applied BioPhysics, Inc., pursuant to 41-U.S.C. 253(c)(1)-Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This is a commercial item procurement for one ECIS Model 1600R electronic cell-substrate Impedance Sensing System including the following: All ECIS electronic instrumentation including the Model 1600R controller, the 16 well array holder, required cables and all specialized software for data gathering and analysis including model calculations; accompanying computer, monitor, and printer; a starting supply of 15 eight-electrode consumable arrays (a total of 120 wells); and compact water-jacketed CO2 tissue culture incubator (2.0 ft) with thermal conductivity CO2 control system and access port for ECIS leads. All responsible sources may respond by submitting a written narrative statement of capability within 15 days of date of notice to Elaine Shoaf at the above address or fax 919 541-5117 for consideration by the agency. Response must include detailed technical information and other technical literature demonstrating the ability to meet these requirements. Responses shall also include itemized pricing that is sufficient to make a determination that competition is feasible. If no affirmative responses are received within 15 days of this notice to determine whether a qualified source is more advantageous to the Government, an order will be placed with Applied BioPhysics, Inc. The NAICS Code/Size is 334516/500 employees. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
