Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center at New Orleans, LA intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Thomson Micromedex for renewal subscription of the Micromedex Computerized Clinical Information System (CCIS) as this company offers the most comprehensive compilation of medical and health care information databases of its kind available. The Micromedex Computerized Clinical Information System offers extensive proprietary information covering toxicology, pharmacology, and acute care medicine. Prepared exclusively by Micromedex, these extraordinary databases in combination with enhanced versions of licensed medical databases, are not available from any other vendor. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposal.
